Chris Olave Shines in Wolfe’s Immaculate Football Break

Wolfe’s Card Breaks brought the power with this 3-Box 1/2 Case 2022 Immaculate Football. One Box per Box, and Box-Pack contains 6 high-end Cards on the most excellent stock. This Olave Shadowbox Auto Rookie is numbered 13 out of 49, and is just gorgeous. The card was shiny, but not too ornate, the Shadowbox Insert Autos are truly a sight to behold. Immaculate can make a Checklist look sexy, but that’s besides the point. This was a Pick Your Team so Michael N walked away with the rising New Orleans star.

In March of 2022, Chris Olave ran a mightily impressive 4.26-second 40 yard dash at the NFL combine. That was, until it was changed to 4.39 a few hours later. The NFL chalked it up to a technical error with the clock, and nonetheless, he was the 2nd highest ranked wide receiver in his draft class that year.Olave was ultimately drafted 11th overall by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

During his time in college at Ohio State, Olave was arguably one of the greatest wide receivers in recent Ohio State history. On Nov. 20, 2021, he broke the Ohio State school record for most touchdown catches by any Buckeye in program history with 35. That’s after a shortened 2020 season due to the COVID pandemic and played only 7 games.

Chris could have easily entered the 2021 NFL Draft after that fateful abridged season, but decided to come back for one more year with Ohio State.

During his entire Ohio State career, he hauled in 175 catches for 2,702 receiving yards, while collecting 35 touchdowns. He ended up averaging 2.77 yards per route run for his college football career, according to Pro Football Focus, ranking him second of any receiver in the 2022 Draft Class.

Olave made his NFL debut in Week 1 of the 2022-23 season against the Atlanta Falcons. He copped 3 receptions for 41 yards and a 2-point conversion in the 27–26 victory. He went on to have an above average year for a rookie, and this coming 2023-2024 season, we expect to see an above average sophomore.
