Pulling a Sports Card for the Future – Emory Jones

Emory Jones is a star in college football and may well be on his way to future NFL stardom!

Super Glow Trading Cards have been making cardboard collectibles since 1998, however, this is only their 2nd year with a Football product. Quite the product it is, this was part of a Cards Infinity 2022 Super Break Football Edition Box Break, featuring the new 2022 Super Glow Football. Each Box contains 5 1st Ever’s, Next Gen’s and Rookies, PLUS an Auto. The Auto in this Personal Break for Jason was an Emory Jones Rookie Blue Parallel. This card is also special because it’s numbered 1 of 150, which as we know is a 1 of 1 all its own. Jones is a Prospect and could be a saving grace for a lot of teams in need of a QB, let’s see if he gets the Glow up, and the come up he deserves.

Emory Jones’ journey has been a long one…..and he’s still in College!

Once the starting Quarterback for the Florida Gators (2018–2021), he played in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl and 2020 Cotton Bowl Classic in the Orange and Blue. However, after the 2021 season he entered the transfer portal and would eventually end up at Arizona State (2022) as a 5th year Senior.

Jones saw action in 8 games at ASU and threw for 1530 yards on 200 attempts with a completion percentage of 62.5 for an average of 7.7 yards per pass, with just 7 TDs, while taking 21 sacks, and totaling a QB rating of 89.4. He also added 40 runs for a total of 174 yards at an average of 4.4 yards per run.

Having a rough go at it with the Sun Devils, Jones once again entered the transfer portal in March of 2022 and recently committed to Cincinnati under their new Head Coach, Scott Satterfield’s, guidance. Emory has come a long way from his hometown of Franklin, Georgia, and we are looking forward to the beginning of his NFL Journey in the future.
