Celebrity Breaks – New York Knicks Legend John Starks

We're back with Celebrity Breaks. Former New York Knicks legend, John Starks, stopped by the Vintage Card Breaks store in Millburn, NJ to open a HUGE pack.

John Starks was a staple of New York basketball in the 1990’s. As a Knick, he helped lead the team to the 1994 NBA Finals, was an NBA All-Star, and still holds the team record for most career three pointers made. Let’s not forget about THE DUNK he made over Michael Jordan. This week Starks stopped by the Vintage Breaks store in Millburn, NJ., where he ripped a box of Mosaic basketball with owner, Leighton Sheldon.

Starks smiled the entire time; you can tell he truly enjoyed ripping packs just like you and we do! It is great to see players not just pose for photos and sign autographs when they walk into a hobby shop but sit down and enjoy the hobby with us. Do you think John Starks has ever pulled his own card?

Keep an eye out the next time you’re at a card shop; you never know who might be in the building breaking packs with you! Just a few weeks ago another NBA star, Cole Anthony, was at Big League Cards opening Pokémon; you can see that video HERE.
