The Best Pulls of the Week – Week of 8.29.22

We've got the best pulls of last week! We've got a 2022 Topps Pristine Brandon Marsh Red Refractor.

1. 1978 Topps Julius Erving

This was a Personal Break for Larry, and although may have missed the Bernard King Rookie Chase, he still got what the Doctor ordered. Dr J that is. It was a 1st Team All Star Card of the Doc, and it was the card just before the last card, which is also known as the “Wax Card”, so thankfully the card was in good shape after all these years. Lucky Larry also got a Free Wheel Spin along with his Personal Break, a special feature of Vintage Breaks during this VB West Show with Charlie G.

2. 2022 Panini Legacy Jalen Wydermyer RPA /249

It didn’t take long for Layton Sports Cards to pull this Rookie Patch Auto of up-and-coming New England Patriot. Within the first few packs of the first Box this Tight End out of Texas A & M appeared in our preferred fashion, as a Futures sub-set RPA numbered to 249. There were 6 Hobby Boxes in total and Layton ripped them all to shreds, a great Break and a beautiful set.

3. 2022 Topps Pristine Brandon Marsh Red Refractor /5

The new 2022 Topps Pristine set is so Pristine, in fact, it’s protected under layers of packaging. First, Steel City Collectibles cut the factory-sealed outer packaging. Next, when they open the box and remove the 6 Packs. Then, they open the Packs to reveal a Base Card pack, and the HITS! They came up with this Rookie Red Refractor numbered 5 of 5, which was part of a Personal Break for Ryann S. Topps’ Pristine is a fun set and the packaging is just the half of it!
