The Best Pulls of the Week – Week of 2.21.22

Buckle up, we've got 5 of the biggest hits from last week! This time around, we're looking at a high-quality Auto from 2005 and much more. Join us for this exciting countdown!

1. 2022 Topps Series 1 Jumbo Case Random Team Per Box

’22 Topps is on the move, and this Random Team Per Box was explosive. This was the 2nd Trout in the box, and because it was the same team throughout each box, one lucky member got ’em both. This time it was a Home Field Advantage, Orange County edition. Chris had the Angels in the Team Break, so he took home BOTH Trouts. This one was shiny and Holo’d out.

2. 2005 Retired Signatures Baseball

Bill Freehan wasn’t a Hall-of-Famer, but he was a solid player with a solid career. What’s impressive about this card, aside from it being 1 of 4 Autos in the box that comes already encased, is the quality of the autograph itself. They don’t sign ’em like they used to, and this Ripping Vintage packs 2005 Signatures box break proved it.

3. 2021-22 Panini Donruss Elite Basketball Hobby Pick Your Team

A Gregg Brown III of 25 Pen Pals card was the prize for the recipient of the Trailblazers in this Pick Your Team Break. Eric was his name, and he was glad he bought in for the $25 Team. The former Texas Longhorn Pen Pals Auto wasn’t expected but was certainly welcomed in this beautiful 2021-2022 Elite set.

4. 2022 Topps Series 1 Jumbo Hobby Box Baseball Random Break

It was only a matter of time ’til we saw a big HALL OF FAME Auto from the 2022 Topps set. Well, it finally happened, and it didn’t take long. An Orlando Cepeda, Topps Certified Autograph Issue from the Baseball Stars series appeared in this Carolina Rippers break. The card is so nice, Topps even congratulates you on the back for getting it!

5. 2021 Immaculate Collection Soccer

There were a few patches, as there tend to be in Immaculate boxes, but this one stood out. Not only because Andrea Pirlo is now retired and coaching, but because of the star-studded 5/10 patch the Coffee Breakers pulled. This card is from the Remarkable series in the Immaculate set, and it shows. Of course, there were more patches and Autos in the break, and it did not disappoint.
