The Best Pulls of the Week – 8.30.21

We’re back again with the 5 most exciting hits from this week!

1. LaMelo Ball Snakeskin 1/1

In 2020-21 Panini Select basketball, the First-Off-the-Line boxes have exclusive Snakeskin prism inserts. Naturally, the card that everyone wants to pull is the LaMelo Ball rookie. Vice City Collectables opened a pack and saw the snakeskin background right away. As they slowly revealed the card, you could make out the Hornets team logo. Once the full card was in full view, the guys yelled a few NSFW words. We’d have done the same… The LeBron James 1/1 Snakeskin sold for just under $18,000!

2. Robert Woodard II Logoman 1/1

National Treasures is one of the finest and most sought-after products for basketball cards. A box of ten cards from the 2020-21 season is around $3,500 per box (if you can find one at retail price) and just dropped on August 11th. Getting into a break for NT is the easier and more affordable route to chase big inserts like the LOGOMAN cards. Mojo Break pulled a logoman of Kings rookie, Robert Woodard II!

3. Aaron Rodgers Green Auto 1/1

It’s a one of one party this week! BLEZ opened a 2020 NFL Prizm and pulled the GREEN variation auto of reigning NFL MVP, Aaron Rodgers. Doing his best Ric Flair impression (WOOOO!), Blez even walked behind the backdrop in excitement.

4. Mike Trout Dual Patch Auto Red /5

Last week we mentioned that one of the top breaks to buy into was Layton Sports Cards and their 2021 Topps Diamond Icons box. The box did not disappoint! A Mike Trout dual patch auto was in the break, and this beauty was the RED version numbered to five! The /10 version sold for over $600 on eBay last month, so this /5 is a great pull considering the buy-in price was under $300.

5. 1982 Topps Lawrence Taylor Rookie

Back before one of one cards existed, and autos were one per pack, “LT” was the card to get in 1982 Topps football. Vintage Break’s S10 pulled the rookie of Lawrence Taylor in a pack break. A PSA 10 is valued at around $5,000 right now. We’re not sure if this card will grade a TEN, but a pack-fresh card has the best shot!
